Bri 260703a is a one-of-a-kind pair of handmade polymer clay earrings with a moody, layered palette of slate blue, indigo, violet, teal, and soft silvery white over a black clay base. Fine dark lines cross and overlap across the surface, giving the pattern an abstract, almost etched or loosely woven appearance.
The design began with black polymer clay coated in several shades of mica powder, including purples, blues, greens, and white. Texture was then worked into the clay sheet to selectively reveal the black underneath. The resulting irregular lines intersect in different directions, creating a subtle geometric quality without becoming a rigid or repeating pattern.
A glossy UV resin finish brings out the shifting mica colors and gives the fronts a smooth, glass-like surface. Depending on the light, the color can move from smoky blue and blue-green into deeper violet and indigo. The backs are finished with satin varnish and retain the understated black appearance of the base clay.
The softly rounded, shield-like shape measures approximately 30 × 25 mm—wide enough to showcase the surface design while remaining compact on the ear.
