Brynlee 250206a

$110.00

Brynlee 250206a is a one-of-a-kind pair of handmade polymer clay earrings with flowing shades of turquoise, teal, emerald green, and deep blue. The elongated teardrop shape has a softly asymmetrical silhouette that gives the earrings an organic, fluid quality—especially fitting for their watery blend of color.

These earrings are made from translucent polymer clay colored with blue and green alcohol inks. Rather than having a separate backing layer, the color extends all the way through the clay, allowing the translucent quality and variations in color to remain visible from both sides. Deep blue areas drift into brilliant teal and green, creating an abstract pattern reminiscent of clear tropical water, watercolor washes, or light moving beneath the surface of the sea.

The fronts are finished with glossy UV resin, which intensifies the colors and gives the clay a smooth, glass-like depth and shine. The backs are finished with satin varnish, allowing the through-color pattern to remain visible with a softer sheen.

At approximately 15 × 35 mm, the clay components have a long, slender profile. Their narrow shape and translucent construction create a graceful drop without the visual heaviness of a solid statement earring.

This is the exact pair shown in the photographs.

Sterling Silver Finding Options

This pair is currently finished with sterling silver ear wires, as shown in the photographs.

Because the translucent clay is individually colored and patterned by hand, the two earrings coordinate rather than match exactly. Their shifting blues and greens, subtle transparency, and natural variations are part of what makes this pair unique.
